Input Ports
The ports on the left edge are the node’s input ports. Wires and other values attached to these ports define the node’s appearance and/or behavior.
Tip: Positioning the pointer near input ports highlights them. The highlighting behavior changes depending upon the pointer's proximity to input port arrows; light blue circular highlight around the input port arrow vs a light blue rectangular highlighted area around the input port name. Clicking in the circular highlighted area starts drawing a wire. Clicking in the rectangular highlighted area opens the input port expression editor field.
